My new novel Pandemic

I was working on another book when i thought of this concept. I reasoned a novel about a pandemic would be better received if it came out while we are still experiencing this emergency. I put all my energy into "Pandemic." It is different from my other work, a real story of a strong woman fighting against the odds.

The novel doesn't have the glamour of the desolation series or the out of this world quality of my alien books. Writing a topical piece of work has different satisfaction than something entirely fictional. I used my ability to process current affairs and mixed facts and fantasy to enable the reader to empathise with the scenario which plays out in the text. I made up the sickness which spreads around the world not wanting it to be too similar to what we are experiencing at present.
